The Autism Treatment Forum is a group for parents and others interested in the dietary, nutritional, and bio-medical treatment of autism spectrum disorders. We are sponsored by the Autism Society of Greater Austin. Sometimes we have a speaker, and sometimes we have an open discussion. We meet on the first Wednesday of every month (except major holidays), from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, at the Old Quarry Library. All meetings are free and open to the public. No reservation or RSVP is ever necessary, but please leave your children at home, if possible. Click on "Files" at the left of this screen for helpful resources.
Dr. Linda K. Swank, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, Director of the Swank Institute, will talk about Interactive Metronome therapy, which uses neuro-sensory and neuro-motor exercises to improve motor planning and sequencing. For more information, see www.InteractiveMetronome.com and www.SwankInstitute.com.
Meetings are free to the public and no RSVP or reservation is ever necessary, but please leave your children at home if possible.

“ I think it is a great form of networking and you get to meet others that are in your same shoes one way or another. ”
“ always good to have parents interacting, and especially good to have scheduled presentations. ”
